Aptly named "Pool Yard Chard" this Chardonnay is made from grapes surrounding the pool house of Lynch Vineyards. These grapes grow in Eastern Napa County where the warm days and cool evenings make for a late bloom and early harvest - and a very crisp, smooth, deliciously drinkable wine. The nose offers delightful hints of green apple and nectarine components with subtle notes of toasty oak. This non-malolactic Chardonnay exhibits more fruitier characteristics while maintaining an overall creamy structure. The wine was barrel fermented for 8 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
