Aptly named "Pool Yard Chard" this Chardonnay is made from grapes surrounding the pool house of Lynch Vineyards. These grapes grow in Eastern Napa County where the warm days and cool evenings make for a late bloom and early harvest and a very crisp, smooth, deliciously drinkable wine. The Chardonnay underwent 100% malolactic fermentation which reduces the total acidity of the wine while adding to the rich, buttery character associated with malolactic fermentation. The wine was barrel fermented for 12 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
